You simply have to look behind the scenes and you will see what is happening there. It does take effort on your part though.

A tactic borrowed by the left in the U.S. to go after Trump.

Exactly. They have been trying to imprison Trump since he announced he was running again. If he were not running against the current government, they would have in al likelihood have left him alone. It is just like what Putin, Xi, and Zelenskyy do, but the Democrats have not yet been successful. There is still enough of the justice system intact here to prevent that, but the Democrats are trying to "remedy" that, and it appears that in New York City, it has been complete. The Federal Justice Department has certainly been compromised, and the Mar Lago raid is an example. People who traveled to Washington, D.C. to support Trump were imprisoned without trial. At least one person from Alaska was questioned and jailed for a short time just for being in Washington, D.C. as the time of the "mostly peaceful demonstration". The FBI traced him through his cell phone. He was released shortly thereafter though.

The near assassination of Trump certainly raises questions as well. It could be total incompetence on the part of the Secret Service, but, since there is no known instance of it happening before, it certainly presents the possibility....

The guy who tried to assassinate Donald Trump was a registered Republican, and his motives have not been determined yet according the FBI, as far as I know.

Donald Trump has been justly indicted & prosecuted. He recently went to Arlington National Cemetery and filmed a political ad there even though that is against the law, and a member of his group assaulted an employee there who tried to stop them.

Since the UK, the Netherlands and now the U.S. have given Ukraine permission and weapons to strike deep into Russia proper. There is some thought that perhaps the West has no more short-range stuff to give Ukraine. I saw that the U.S. has provided about 80% of the aid to Ukraine while the Europeans, who have a combined GDP that closely matches the U.S., have only given 20%.

There appears to be serious talk now among the Russians about doing a tactical nuclear strike on a NATO nation to stop the incessant escalation. It is called "Escalate to De-escalate" in Russian military doctrine. The idea is that the U.S. putting itself at risk of a full-scale strategic nuclear strike from Russia in order to defend Latvia is simply a bluff with no teeth behind it. Should that happen--Russia strike a NATO nation--and the U.S. does not strike back in a similar fashion, NATO would simply dissolve and the U.S. would be seen as powerless. Japan would certainly then develop nuclear weapons, as would any number of other nations. The United States would then perhaps be the one defeated, not the Russians.
