Designed by architect Imhoteb, the vizier of Djoser, the pyramid includes a 28-metre deep burial chamber for the pharaoh who some scholars believe ruled Egypt for almost two decades.

"The Great Pyramid has evoked many theories about its construction. With the advent of drone photography, we get a closer look at the summit and can see amazing evidence for the methods used by builders to get megalithic blocks all the way to the top."

The Great Pyramid reveals how it was built!

The Missing Capstone of the Great Pyramid of Giza
    [IMG]
"There are numerous mysteries related to the Great Pyramid of Giza, but there is one which researchers are unable to explain: Why is the Great Pyramid –one of the most precise ancient structures on the surface of the planet— missing a capstone on its top?"

"An interesting story is associated with the visit of Sir Siemens, a British inventor to the top of the Pyramid. When Siemens got to the top of the Pyramid with his guides, he received an electric shock as he tried to drink from a bottle of wine which he brought with him. As Siemens was a scientist, it is said that he moistened a newspaper wrapping it around the bottle converting it into a Leyden jar –basically an early capacitor. As Siemens held the bottle above his head, it became charged with electricity."

"The name “pyramid” suggests hidden capabilities, as it translates very literally to mean “fire in the middle.” This allegation has inspired many people to test the theories of the Great Pyramids, and the genius inventor Tesla was no exception."

    Living in a pyramid

"Look at this fascinating home in Seattle atop the Smith Tower. Click on the links below and you’ll get a glimpse into how this pyramid-shaped space – the 37th floor had a caretaker’s apartment, above which was a 10,000 gallon water tank of cast iron for the fire sprinklers – became the home for a family of 4. Petra Franklin is a woman with vision!"

According to some the pyramid is designed with the 3.14 Pi and sits perfectly with the circumference of the earth. This always amazes me.
