Here are interesting old photos of what appear to be similar carvings to the Sphinx, in other lands around the world. There may be even more that we have not found yet. A lot of the old buildings in South America were covered over in the forests and people didn’t know that there had even been structures there.
The Egyptian sphinx At the archaeological site of Memphis (near Cairo) of a sphinx that dates back to the reign of Ramesses the Great (r. 1279–1213 BC). The face was probably modeled after the king: note the royal beard and uraeus.
Copied from a facebook page: There are real pyramids in Greenland. What, didn't they tell you about it at school? Hm strange. Geodom Mountain Pyramid. Height 2823 m. Both have perfect pyramid shapes and are aligned in the same way. Greenland is the largest island on planet earth on the north and is uninhabited due to harsh weather. Who could have built these pyramids then and when? Obviously they were built when the weather there was different, and that was a long time ago. an advanced civilization?
The giant pyramid hidden inside a mountain (LINK) This temple at Cholula dwarfs the Great Pyramid at Giza, yet it went unnoticed by Spanish invaders. Why? Eventually the Spaniards settled in Cholula (now part of Mexico), erecting enough of their own buildings that the city is now known for having a church for every day of the year. The final touch – a symbol of their Christian conquest – is the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Remediosa, built on what they thought was a large hill. The pyramid was built to appease the “feathered serpent” god (Credit: Diego Delso/ Wikimedia Commons)
Onions "Some Egyptian families still start Sham Al-Naseem by the rubbing of spring onions on children’s noses". "It is said that the tradition arises from the folk story of a Pharaoh’s daughter who suffered from an incurable disease. Doctors failed one time after another to cure her; all hope was lost until a high priest gave her onion juice. Her condition drastically improved, and Pharaoh, was so exhilarated by his daughter’s recovery that he ordered that day a celebration in the honor of onions".
Here are pyramids in Antarctica, I wonder if people have explored these like we have with the ones in Egypt ? As cold as it is in Antarctica, and uninhabited, these must have been built in the long ago past when it was warmer there, I would think.
Just looked to see. Yes, they were explored already, and are not manmade at all. (At different times, various media/news/hyped up stories for sales, without any truth nor evidence) they are > "Natural Formations There is no evidence of humans inhabiting or visiting the ice-covered Antarctica until the 19th century. Moreover, the structural formations in the pictures are not uncommon and appear throughout in Antarctica and Greenland." http://www.hoaxorfact.com/science/ancient-man-made-pyramids-found-in-antarctica.html/2
The Great Pyramyd of Giza, called "Khufu", was built from blocks of marble from distant quarries and floated up the Nile to Giza on barges. Now, how were those marble blocks lifted to the top of the Pyramyd? Most archeoloists go for the Ramp method. Hal
