Just recalled, I had a knitted cloche hat years ago, it was lovely, sat on a coach that had a sun roof ……….. the hat departed me head and off out the sunroof it went …………..
Here you go, Patsy. An aviator hat. The boys in elementary school used to wear these. If I could find one in the store to physically try on, I might get one.
This is the hat my wife wore for the Christmas Party on our trip to Disney World last year. ( the 'Holiday' part has tiny lights that you can turn on ) You gotta have 'Mickey Ears' on any hat you wear there...
I've always been a hat guy. Liked hats. Thought it a shame when men quit wearing hats. Some do but many wear some kind of cap. I have only two hats, four or five caps a couple of berets ad a straw hat for sommer's yard work which I can no longer do. I wear one often. I don't think they'll ever come back to where they were in their heyday but once every year or two, I still shop for a good hat as though it were the most important thing I wore.
Another showplace, in Hat Town, is the Susquehanna Hat Co, just over on Bagel Street....just ask anyone for directions!
