LOL..I'm still here... If I'd seen this question before I had dinner I'd have taken a photo of mine...but here is what stuffed crown of chicken looks like... It's breast of chicken round and stuffed often with venison..(mine was sausage meat and red onion) and looks like a coronet Samphire is a green sea vegetable, (not seaweed)...and looks like a very thin asparagus...
I have never seen chicken look like that! Interesting, thanks Holly! What does the veggie taste like?
I looked it up, I've had it before, I thought it was seaweed because I ordered seaweed soup and thats what they gave me! There are many kinds of seaweed so I didn't know.
I would say yes, since it looks like the stuff in my soup, which didn't have any flavor to speak of and I was disappointed.
I get it from the farm shop Ruby... they are soo fresh and delicious...prepared on the premises, and only take about 40 minutes to roast... I was at the farm shop this afternoon....and as I drove up the track look who came out to meet me.. but a pygmy goat.. it was sooo cute..and it was accompanied by a bigger black one. The black one trotted off up the side of the barns , but I stopped the car got out and approached the little white one and it was soo friendly, it just wanted to come along with me...the black one stood a bit away looking back as if to say to the little one, ''well are you coming along or not''?..lol..
Samphire has loads of flavour it's extremely salty..so you have to steam it to remove most of the salt...
I just read that Holly, about the salt. Was looking it up. Also read if it's grown in dirt it's sweeter.
