Last night I made stir fry egg noodles with soy sauce and mushrooms...and flaked some wild smoked trout into it.. yummmy!!
Yes @Holly Saunders I have been having stir fried egg noodles with veg here a few times and love them. Just finished a lunch of grilled fresh tuna steaks and stir fried spinach with potato mash and salad with a spicy dressing, it was delicious, especially when washed down with a glass of ice cold beer. As you can see by the knife I couldn't wait to start it
Supper tonight (Tuesday) was my chicken burgers on the BBQ.. Steamed and mashed butternut squash with chives..
Wednesday supper was chicken drums on the BBQ.. It was snowing but not windy to BBQ.. A fresh salad with my dressing.. Fruit with heavy cream..
Tonight (Friday) I am thinking of some small rib steaks on the BBQ.. A salad always goes over very well in our house...
For Saturday, we are having a birthday supper for one of our friends.. I will make a casserole in the oven using B/S chicken breast, loads of veggies, cheese, and just a bit of pasta.. Birthday cake for dessert..
Having lived on mainly home cooked Asian vegetarian meals with a little fish over the past three weeks, I will revert to my mainly vegetarian diet and restart my daily kefir, and drop alcohol from my diet.
Yesterday we had salad. Romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, carrots, boiled egg, sunflower seeds, and grated cheddar cheese topped with green goddess dressing. Greek yogurt later, and snacked all day on some peanut butter cookies.
I've been eating all the things I shouldn't this week. My roommate has not been feeling well and it has been catch as catch can. Had some homemade Italian chili my DIL brought over and mostly sandwiches other times and salads.
Yesterday (Saturday) we had over for supper our friends.. It was her birthday, so I decided to cook them a meal.. I made a casserole with chicken breast, a ton of veggies including diced tomatoes, cheese, and I added some scoobie doos to stretch the casserole and make it good.. Baked it in the oven topped with more cheese, and sprinkled freshly cut parsley over the top..... A small fresh salad with my homemade dressing on the side.. Birthday cake with vanilla ice-cream.. Pot of coffee....... A great time was had by all !!!!!!
Supper tonight (Sunday) will most likely be something simple and easy.. I was thinking of some chicken thighs (skin and bone in) on the BBQ as it is lovely out today and a perfect BBQ day.. Butternut squash sliced and on the BBQ as well.. Steamed green beans with sour cream.. jello with heavy cream... Hopefully NO leftovers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
