I have no idea if the nurse does that, as she's the one that takes my vitals before the dr even comes in.

It's the dr though that listens to my heart and lungs.

My body temp has been between 96-97 for 13 years now. I never know when I have a low grade fever.

@Yvonne Smith *yikes * you're scaring me with this '' I was very premature, and born to an older mother (which can cause problems in itself), and my lungs did not develop fully, which is typical of premature babies.''

I was not born to an older mother...but I was stillborn 10 weeks premature... never had any obvious problems with my lungs...although I have had pneumonia 3 times in my life.. the first at 2 years old... no high blood pressure tho'...and my BP is always what it should be , and no heart problems that I know ...but I've downloaded the app

It is probably not going to be a problem,@Holly Saunders , and if it was, you would know it by now; however, you might want to google premature baby and lung development.
My mother waited all through the depression and then the Second World War to have a baby because it didn't seem like a good time, and finances were hard.
By the time she was almost 40, the war was over, and she figured it was now or never for her.
The pregnancy was complicated because she also had a tumor growing in her stomach, and if they operated and removed the tumor, it would have terminated the pregnancy.
Her doctor warned her that if she didn't do that she would probably die (along with me); but she wasn't about to give up.
They waited as long as they could to give me a chance of survival while still taking the tumor out in time to save my mother.
Naturally, I was born c-section since they also removed the tumor at the same time.
When my mom heard that she had a live baby, she started praying for God to let her live, too; so that she could raise me, and His hand was on both of us.
My dad said that they had to put me on a pillow to have something to carry me around, I was so tiny. When babies are premature, not everything is fully developed, and the lungs are apparently one of the parts that is not developed completely.
I have always had breathing problems, and (aside from living with smokers) I am pretty sure that this is the cause of most of it.
However, it is totally worth it; because I grew up with parents who loved me, and I never doubted that.

dear Lord...your mum was such a strong willed person, she must have wanted you desperately to have been prepared to suffer so much to have you...

Thank God the lord was listening to her prayers after you were born..

Yes funnily enough..with regard to your pillow story... my father said I was so tiny.. that he could hold me completely in one of his hands.. just 2lbs' born... 10 weeks premature..one of a twin, both stillborn, but they only managed to resuscitate me and not my brother.

However..just off topic for a second... I did get another brother 14months later...and we were totally joined at the hip, we went everywhere together...and everyone thought we were twins..

I'm not into my android cell that much but boy do I love app downloads for my Acer . I use cnet downloads exclusivily and have desktop icons for most every cleaning app cnet has. Couldn't get by without my Revo, Burgertime, Malwarebytes, .... too many to list. Never buy any type of app aids as they are all free from cnet.

I do not think that we have mentioned music apps; but I have Spotify, Pandora, and Amazon Music on my iPad that I use when I want to listen to music. I like Spotify because you can make actual playlists, whereas both Amazon Music and Pandora just play music they pick that is similar to what I like.
Of course, this is a good way to hear new songs, and as you keep choosing favorite and dislikes, the app does a much better job of playing songs that I really do like.
Pandora also has a new station called "Thumbprint Radio" , which is only the songs that you have given a "thumbs-up" to in the past. Since this is only playing songs that I liked before, but I never know what order they will come in, I really enjoy the thumbprint station.
When I ask Alexa to play Pandora for me, it automatically goes to the thumbprint station unless I specifically ask for a different station. Alexa only plays Spotify if you have a premium Spotify account (and I only have the free version) so I can't start Spotify from Alexa; but I can play both Pandora or Amazon Music, or just ask for songs by a certain artist.

I like that about Pandora because they do a pretty good job of it, and I often find musicians I would have never listened to otherwise.

One of my favourite apps is 'Plane Finder'. An app that uses an airliners transponder to show it's position in real time. It will even tell you how many aircraft are in the sky at that moment. It is available for phones, tablets and PC's/laptops.
