Hi Mary, sounds like great thinking outside the box!
I could give them all the wild grape vines, potato vines, and a couple others I can't remember their names. John and @John Brunner did you guys see this video about plastic, it is amazing how these things work.
John, you don't really think I remember this right this instant, do you? I'll get the info for you later. I just watched a special on this these past couple months.
Actually, I'd like to see it. I don't doubt that some congested areas are experiencing local resource issues, but not the planet as a whole...but that's just my feeling, with no scientific basis.
Ok this is one I came up on, there are plenty of them, You can skip the first 3 minutes if you want. I was wrong ,its less than 1% fresh water available to us.
Thanks. I have suck internet. Which should I watch and where should I pick up to get the salient points? ps: it all looks like it hinges on "climate change."
Skip thru the last one first, desalination it's the shortest one. Or even Beter just watch last 3 minutes of that one. Watch the first one its the shortest one. skip the first 3 minutes of it, 'don't need the science or opinion'.
I know but don't tell all these city slickers who don't like trees. And trade in their children's future to live in McMansions. What upsets me is seeing people suckling on plastic bottles, for two reasons the water waste and the plastic pollution, I love my best friend of 61 years now but I sent her, and her hubby thermos bottles to take along when they ride and they don't use them they buy those plastic bottles. We haven't bought a plastic bottle in decades; we carry our thermos bottles or if on trips we have a 5-gallon water container we take.It is really easy once you get into the habit.
So in a nutshell, I gotta think any water shortage is gonna be regional. I assume some states (mostly western) and some nations.
In a nutshell ,there is no sense is worrying about it ,John for us old sick seniors it may not happen in our lifetime. I do try to keep filters for our well water and water pitcher filters for drinking water. I'd like to buy some of those water containers to store a little since some wells have run dry in our area, thanks to bottling company's Coca-Cola and Nestles draining the aquifers here, ] back on the plastic bottles ]

I had no idea that these technologies were being used throughout the world to clean up the oceans and rivers. Thanks, John.

Thanks, John.
Amazing, isn't it? There are videos that show more and it is terrible the whole world over what this plastic is doing. All we can do is our part and spread the word.
i've recently had the privilege to observe from a distance, the boots alliance transition into ai... they're somebody who you should already be very familiar with actually. anyway, it sure seems that we'll render ourselves redundant in no time.
