Are you asking if you can talk to it while in your car? I'm a bit confused @Ruby Begonia .

@Cody Fousnaugh I'm contributing to making this device

Sorry. Can I talk into it?
Like, can I record where I have parked my car when I go to the mall? So when I press a Playback button, I can hear where I said I've parked my car. Like a mini tape-recorder, I guess. That's a feature that would be most helpful to me.

Ok, I get it now. You want to invent something. Good Luck.

    Exactly. Thanks @Cody Fousnaugh .

Ohhh, ok, now I understand @Ruby Begonia . It is meant for the home so one wouldn't have it in their car, but one is able to make lists at home.

For example, imagine if you want to create a grocery list throughout the week based on what you don't have. Whenever you want, you can speak into the device to add, "Milk, eggs, and bcon" to your shopping list. The device will transcribe you speech into words, so all your items will be on the device for you to read. Does that make sense @Ruby Begonia ?

The iPhone does that and the benefit of the iPhone is that you can take it with you. So if you want to remember where you parked you can take a picture or just talk to text in notes. I'm sure there's other ways too.

But...good luck. This would be for people that are more homebound I'm thinking.

If you can't take the device out with you what good is your grocery list at home on the device?

I looked at the App Store, and there are free apps that you can use to tell what medications you need to take, when you need to take them, and then it will tell you that you have taken the medicine, as long as you remember to put in that information once you take your meds.
I can't see much sense in having a grocery list in a machine at home either, @Chrissy Cross .
Even someone with a cheap tablet can do everything that the Memory Device does, except maybe have it speak to them, and any tablet or smartphone is portable.
You would still need a computer/laptop to connect the device with , from the looks of the picture, and if that is how it works, then the person would have to be tech-savvy enough to have a computer.
