Cody, your choice should be clear: Cody, WY., a great town with a weekly rodeo, during tourist season.

The thread has been hi-jacked by Cody anyway, so why not a little relevant humor.........

New Yorkers and Los Angelinos don't flee the pollution there, so why would those folks flee Austin?

They're more intelligent, that's why! Also, in my time here, this town has gone from having a small town feel to a crowded urban blight area feel. NYC and L.A. have had terrible environmental conditions for a very long time. Austinites can remember when this town was great, the aforementioned can't, for their respective towns.

In 1971 an illustrative movie came from Japan - it dramatically showed the cause of cvd symptoms, et al, and gave a message that few people have been able to do anything about except for their own selves and families and others who care. Governments and Nations and Corporations apparently have just continued with "a different kind of murder" and blamed it on other things instead of cleaning up their acts.
Quote below the double line is from review of the expose : (and applies well to most places and governments and agencies and corporations today. )
"More intelligent" people get censored, censured, murdered, silenced, blacklisted, along with their family and cohorts.

"In the early 1970s, Japan’s pollution crisis was becoming critical. As Hedorah’s special effects director Teruyoshi Nakano explained,

“pollution is a different kind of murder…if we do nothing about it, the human race may be destroyed.

So I figured, if we were making a statement about pollution in the movie, bold expression would be necessary.” Bold is certainly an apt description for this film. With impressive visuals, poignant cultural comments, and an arresting musical score by Riichiro Manabe, Godzilla vs. Hedorah stands as one of the most unique entries in the Godzilla series.
