I used to love that song ^^^^^...it was always an earworm tho' I liked it, but I haven't heard it in years....
Years ago I was stuck on Rod McKuen and had his entire vinyl collection and lately I’ve been listening to a lot of his poetry / music once again via YouTube. Most of his work, particularly “The Seasons” and “The Ocean”, are quiet, sensual and easy to do a lot of eyes closed mental wandering. A couple of his more famous works were his own renderings of songs that had already made the charts by some other musicians but still, I do like his work better than the originals.
