What Music Are You Listening To Today?

You know the funny things is .despite being a Country music fan, I'd never heard of the Carter sisters or their mother until a few years ago.. (before my time).. I'd heard of June carter because she was Johnny's wife but other than that, no.!!

I'm still not keen on the Carter family's music...but I do like the younger generation..(my age) Roseanne Cash and Carlene Carter

 

This is a bit new for me!But its about an age we remember..

 

Carlene Carter is my favorite by far but I still like to listen to the original Carter family sometimes.

 

I think she not only looks like June, but she sounds just like her too....

I also discovered the music of her father a few years ago..Carl smith... wow what a looker he was in his day...I still love this old song...

 

I still have this stereo 45 rpm.
