These boots are made for walking, takes me back to Jr. High school. All of you posted so many good songs, and some I've never heard of. I enjoy of today's music, but I rather stick to my oldies but goodies, (50's, 60's) you don't hear them sing about sex or drugs, unless they are using some type of code. have my i-pod with music from these eras. I also have a couple of songs from Pasty Cline. Ray Charles, I love his song Georgia. The late 60's music, I just could not get into, it was called was hippy music,I enjoyed listening to the Beatles, but once they started with their long hair and they way they dressed, I stopped listening to them.
I suddenly crave for the sounds of Corrinne May and maybe later on during this lazy afternoon on this side of Earth with Tunde to perk me a little and get going.
Thanks Holly! Five Loaves and 2 Fishes was indeed one of my favorite from Corrinne and 'Not According to Fairness' from Tunde. But sure I can listen anything from the both of them. They're 2 of my most favorite music artists.
Today has been a slow moving day. It has also been a quiet day. I have not played any music at all today. I guess some days are just meant to be music free.
Indeed Beth. There really are really some days where we just need a quiet and solitude space. I guess, especially if you live in a busy city where all kind of noise and sound can be heard, an occasional quiet place or space is a must and needed to get away from all the hassles and bustles of everyday city life.
No plans of listening to music today as i am enjoying the peace and quiet. However, i did listen to Queen the other day. They had some good songs.
