Neil Diamond's "Cracklin' Rosie" was serenading my sleep last night!

It was written 50 years ago, and incorporates a subtle key change that is almost not recognized...going a half-tone upward from the beginning C# to a D.

The video performance was great, showing a 29-year-old Neil Diamond on a stool with an acoustic guitar, with a nice orchestral accompaniment, with harmonizing female voices included.

    Watch the Video on YouTube!

Neil Diamond was never one of my favorite singers but there was certainly something catchy about that song.
