Josh Groban is one of my favorites. While cleaning the house, working in the yard, anytime really. I love many of his songs.
I don’t listen to music much anymore. I have access to most any music but to me, music is not what it used to, not the type of music, but my interest in it. I lay down to rest my bones a while this afternoon, turned on my bedside radio and listened to a half hour of classical music. I don’t know what was played but found it relaxing.
After listening to Debbie Harry and "Blondie" last night, I googled to find out what happened to them. I was surprised to find that Debbie is now 75 years old. Yep. It happens to all of us.
Although she isn’t known for music, I heard on the radio that Sally Fields is 74 today. Flying Nun to “Shaky Puddin” to Playboy cover to.....medicare.
Sally always had that fresh, young look even as she aged. Somehow the natural girl next door doesn't age as badly as the desperate glamour girl.
I liked that song when I heard it on the commercial also, and had to look it up. Had never heard it before. It reminds me of another one, that I can't put my finger on yet. Maybe before the night's over...
I must be going senile. I do not like rap, even Christian rap. It’s not music but one of the genres of music listed is rap. It may even be poetry to some but to me, it’s not music but i pretty much stand in the minority concerning my opinion so it is what it is. This is rap that I very accidentally ran into and performed by a guy I do not know nor care to. The name intrigued me so I listened. It actually made sense and since it made sense obviously I understood the words. Since I understood it and it made sense to me I figured that it might be understood and make sense to someone else hence my unmitigated gall in posting it here. Oh yeah, there is a small bit of uh......something that is a bit.....uh.......well, uh.....beware, it’s there.
