One of my absolute favorite songs of that era. Great chord progression.

I forget whose version gets played on XM's 40s channel, but it's faster tempo that Sinatra's.

You understand the technical stuff, I look at sheet music I see hieroglyphics.
You think I know more two of my daughters are music majors. One used to be a music teacher, the other gave private piano and voice lessons. Both are singers one was part of a chorale or choir I don't remember which but they did tour Europe. Enough rambling.

I've often wished that I had taken a music theory class or something along those lines. I know what I hear, but there is so much that is foreign to me.

I had siblings who understood this stuff, but I never have.

I guess there's a song for everything. Never heard this before but then after 1962 I don't know a lot of the Rock music.
The song had a nice sound to it reminds me of something I've heard before I can't quite put my finger on it.

I feel like a Ramblin Man these days. I joined the chat site because I needed an outlet I've never talked so much in my whole life, always felt others could say it better, kept my thoughts to myself.

    Still waters run deep.

That Led Zepplin tune has shades of Allman Brothers in parts of it. And I was in my teen years when The Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin etc hit the scene. I was into jazz & big band stuff, and turned my nose up at them. I acquired a liking for them later, but the stuff's so overplayed I'm back to "Can't listen."

Regarding the ramblin' theme, here's one we both have heard:

I had "She Blinded Me With Science" stuck in my head ever since looking for the parody titled "He Bought Me An Appliance a couple of weeks ago. It's just been replaced with this much more pleasant tune:
