@Texas Beth It's amazing how different tastes can be even among family members, isn't it? One of my nephews likes rap, and I cannot stand it! I guess it also has a lot to do with what you grew up listening to, and how that particular style of music effected you during your formative years. I certainly never heard any rap or Asian anime music as a child.
I just had the radio station playing (country again) on the desktop again, but I find it really distracting when I'm trying to do any sort of task on the computer, so I had to shut it off. I like it on when I'm crafting or doing household chores, but not when I need to focus on the task at hand. I'll be crafting again later or tomorrow, and will turn it back on then. I also like it in the background when I'm entering sweepstakes/contests, since I usually don't have to pay close attention to those types of activities.
I am not sure what music I will listen to today, but yesterday I was listening to Blondie. I love the songs on Heart of Glass, and also the Best of Blondie. I needed something fast paced and to get my adrenaline pumping while I was cleaning my kitchen counters. I am not sure what I am doing yet today, but it will probably involve some car travel...and just in the past few days, I have gotten an SP error, so I only have static on the radio, nor does the CD player work. I am going to go to the Dodge Neon forum to try to figure out what to do, because listening to the car radio is something I always do.
I am listening to a Penatonix 2015 concert. Did you know they are frm Arlington, Texas? Only 20 minutes from where I live.
I am not listening to anything at the moment but yesterday I was listening to 80's tunes on Sirrius. That is my favorite decade by far to listen to music. I think there is good music fm other decades. I like a lot of 60's music..but the 80's are jus the time period that I like. Alot of good bands and groups from that time period, and best of all you can understand the words!
Listening to "Somebpdy to Love" by Queen. I enjoy music that allows me to hear the vocal parts. Queen, Boys to Men, and the Gatlin Brothers are good at this.
Big Band Night Wasn't my period, but still love the songs. When I hear a 'Torch' song sung by Linda, reminds me of how my Mom talked about my Dad being gone during the War.
