I sing it to myself, and it makes me remember the conversations my grandmother and I would have, so long ago. In fact until she entered my life, I really didn't realize that their were different tribes. And, there was that old cowboy saying of, "The only good Indian was a dead Indian". Before her, all I heard of any of the Native American's was not very encouraging.
They don't all Ina...I can think of a few singers particularly my own people the celts..whose accents are still quite pronounced..at least to me...
Good selection @Gary Ridenour , You and my hubby would have gotten on well as far as music goes, He was a big man, a Marine, quiet, but the man could sing. He use to putter around singing your secound selection softly to himself whenever things got to be trying, or when he had a weekend of trucking all our teenages around.
