It's amazing the obscure songs you can find on YouTube. This one came out when I was a junior in high school. I thought it was creepy and sad, but still liked it in a strange way. It still makes me sad. Maybe you had to see the musical (The Most Happy Fella).
All soo true... I was a teen at school in '70 but the music from that era will always remain my favourite, and I've always been a HUGE fan of JT...
I have been listening to a contemporary violinist name DanielD. Just recently I became a member of his website.
I'm kind of fascinated by musical collaborations that don't sound like they're possible. You know, like BB King and Willie Nelson or Dr. John and Etta James. So that''s where I usually end up. I started out with "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" performed by Dhani Harrison, Prince, Steve Winwood, Tom Petty, and Jeff Lynne, "A Tribute to George Harrison" at the 2004 Hall of Fame Inductions. (I have somehow ended up with Cream doing "Crossroads".) Check out 4:44, where Prince starts to fall off the stage and someone pushes him back up, all to the amusement to Dhani.
