Well, at least he calls his mama! I know mothers that would forgive a 2 AM unimportant call just to get their kids to call.
Yep. And now the newest diet craze is OMAD or intermittent fasting, so I suppose he was ahead of his time. (And he has maintained a 30-31" waist since high school. So annoying. )
He does call his mama, and texts her some jokes, and sends flowers on a whim. Someone raised that kid right. (And I was not complaining; simply mentioning that he doesn't pay attention to time zones, so nothing to "forgive." )
It has just been gradual which is a lot better than getting blind sided by something that knocks you out of the box all at once. Basically it's just a little less vitality but still more than enough.
When I struggle with my back to push around one of those monster lawn mowers on my quarter acre block.
A couple of nights ago, I went to bed before 1:00 am, and was up just after 7:00 am. Last night, I went to bed just after midnight, read for an hour or so, then tried to sleep. Finding that I wasn't tired, I got up and went back to work until about 4:00 am, and slept until 10. With my work schedule, there's no reason for me to be in bed unable to sleep. When I can't sleep, I get up, knowing that sleep will come later.
Well, actually, while I love to read in bed, I never get far and find I have drifted into dreamland for a couple of hours. That does play havoc with having a healthy sleep schedule. Also, regardless of when I do retire for a visit with the Sandman, the dog makes sure I am up no later than 5 or 5:30 A.M. daily. So, out we go and then I settle down with the morning news and coffee. Do nap during the day, however.
I had a pretty good sleeping habit until my husband had his first stroke and it's never been the same since. To my surprise though I do get 6 to 7 hours of sleep and extra when I dose off at my computer.
