Usually dogs need to pee about daylight go with them and feed stock make coffee before I go out a large cup when I get back inside, all changes if they hear yotes or smell a critter in the middle of the night, I fish several times a week taking others and up from 0230-0500 this time of year earlier in summer.
When I worked I got up every morning at 5:30, jump on the stationary bike for 1/2 hour, shower and go to work. Now I sleep in to the grand old hour of 6:30, jump on the bike for 1/2 hour, shower, have breakfast. I guess 34 years of doing the same routine, I only seem to be able to reclaim an hour. BUT.....now not going to leave and go to work not having to endure the commute, the meetings, the staff, the bureaucracy, politics, then the commute home is pure heaven!!!
5 a.m.ish In bed by 9:00 pm ish. Very early morning is the most enjoyable time to walk a few miles...little or no noise, almost no traffic.. Also best time to just enjoy nature; after the walk stand or sit in the yard and enjoy! This time of year the moon and stars are still out when I'm out.
I am a morning person. Up at 4:00. No alarm clock needed, even when I was working. I like to get up, spend time reading my Bible. Enjoy a cup of coffee, I have a lot of energy in the morning, I like walking in the early AM, when it is still dark out and see the stars. My hubby is a night person. Opposites attract.
Opposites attract?????? Definitely not with us. That is what drew us together........90% same interests and do most everything together. Go to bed at same time, but I get up a couple of hours before she does in the AM. How did your hubby become a "night person"?
I go to bed when I darn well please and I get up when I darn well please and I nap......well, when I darn well please. That's what's so great about retirement.
You GO girl! Naps are my favorite sport. I have worked at it for years and can now nap sitting up --in a recliner. I think the Olympic people should institute it as one of THEIR sports. Only way I will win a medal.
My husband was a musician, played in a band when he was younger. He played Guitar, electric in the 60-70's, classical as he got older for pleasure. And I agree with you about having the same interests.. I met him bowling, showed him my softball glove and fishing pole,. after that he was hooked.
That's Mikey. He went over the rainbow bridge last spring. We had him a long time and he was a terrific dog.
