Yes, but one would think people who speak English would use the same words for simple food items. I wonder how the UK biscuit became our cookie. :D

As you know English was our language first , so all the changes that were made were made by you Americans...

American Biscuits and cookies may look the same but I think they are made from a different recipe....

Biscuits here are as you know ..what you call cookies..

Cookies here are a type of bun...

..and so on and so 500th.... :D

I think technically we had the English language at the same time since we were colonized by the Brits. :D

errrrm....English has been spoken since around 1000 AD... how long is it since we brought you to the USA.. and taught you how to speak then left you to teach yourselves afterwards...? around the early 1600's wasn't it?.. you''re ancestors had one job when it came to the language..speak English as it was taught to them, but did they?.. naaaa... they got it all wrong, so their great great grandchildren could sit on forums asking why the British don't speak ''proper English''...:p

My point was, the British colonized America... so we all had it "since around 1000 AD". :D

Look it up on Wikipedia because everything else there are many definitions is to the how and why there is a difference between a biscuit and a cookie in America and England

Beware Wikipedia...remember never to believe everything you read there, it's written by people like you and I, mostly experts in very little...

Nothing. I am too upset to eat. The senior living facility did not reorder my heart medication, so I have none causing me no end of anxiety. Unconscionable to say the least. Had I been informed of this prior to Sunday morning, I'd have taken care of it myself. Today's med tech's do not keep abreast of what is needed.
