I had a big breakfast burrito (sausage-egg-potato) and my wife had a rather large cheese quesadillas that we bought on Tuesday afternoon and put in the frig until Christmas morning.
What is a blini, @Holly Saunders ? I think that you have told us that before, but i can’t remember what you said it was. Now that your husband is a complete vegan, what does he have for breakfast, and does he seem to be doing better now or when he ate fish and other vegetarian foods like eggs ? We did not have breakfast on Christmas morning, just coffee, and waited for the turkey to be ready to eat. Since Bobby had put it on to cook around 4am, everything was ready by noon, Robin was here, and we had our meal of the day at noon, and then just kind of snacked after that.

Since this was Ash Wednesday, I had a yogurt and juice, skipped lunch and will eat a cup of soup for dinner. The church does not demand this at my age, but since I am robust enough to continue the practice, I continue the ritual. Feel better for myself doing so.
