I have a handful of leftover italian sausage that I cooked yesterday to go on the pizza I made. I'm going to toss it into some scrambled eggs and have a piece of wheat toast.

Made steel cut oats again. This time I put some powdered ginger in the ghee before toasting the oats (I need to buy some ginger root) and I broke off a piece of stick cinnamon and threw it in the milk as the oats simmered. Adding that cinnamon stick really increased the flavor, and it's pretty cheap in ethnic markets.

Coffee and English muffin with sugar free strawberry jam. Since my blood sugar was about 185 this morning I need to be a good boy today.

The box of fresh peaches turned out to still be on the green side, so we are having to give them a little time to ripen up. However, I found one that was at least ripe enough to slice up and eat, so I had peaches and coffee this morning.
Later, I decided that I still wanted something more to eat, but not anything heavy, so I made a tomato/onion/cucumber salad, and now i am feeling satisfied.

COFFEEEEE, coffee,coffee,coffee.... Same thing I have for breakfast every morning, with a handful of supplements. Later I had second breakfast; leftover rabbit with black mushrooms and kale in white wine sauce with thin spaghetti. Last nite I tried cassava (yucca flour) biscuits but there were none left over for breakfast.

For breakfast today, I had peach cobbler oats. Instead of an apple and raisins, I took one of the peaches we just got, cut that up and cooked it along with my steel-cut oats, and some peach pie seasoning. I added the flax and chia seeds after it finished cooking, just like always, and made a fresh pint of oat/cashew milk to use on the cereal.
I am definitely going to be having this again ! !

Another breakfast of steel cut oats toasted in ghee with cinnamon, fresh ground nutmeg, shredded carrots, chopped apples, raisins. This time I put a hunk of fresh ginger root in to simmer as the oats cooked and topped it off with chia seeds. I forgot to throw in a piece of cinnamon stick this time. It's still good.
