I don't understand. I've not heard bad things about seed oils. I occasionally use sesame seed oil when I cook Chinese, and use canola (rapeseed) oil somewhat regularly. What gives?
This is not a very good video explaining without citing sources . I actually like toasted sesame oil very occassionally. But The solvents used to make seed oils are not good for you. They don't just squeeze a soybean or a rapeseed to get the oil. And the heating of them causes oxidation. Even Flax oil becomes poisonous after oxidation.
Gotcha. I never really thought about how the get oil out of the seed...I always assumed they pressed it. And I don't watch videos longer than a minute or two...rural internet limitations.
Too bad about your internet limitations, although I have been there. That 25 quick lunch ideas had lots of hacks. How to home make hazelnut coffee...
Same thing I have every day. 20% organic protein shake, 8 tablespoons of unsweetened applesauce, 4 tablespoons of natural unsweetened whole milk yogurt, and four heaping tablespoons of natural peanut butter.
Having a pineapple green smoothie and a fiber bar for breakfast today. Time to do spring cleaning for my liver and kidneys. My back has been hurting for the last couple of weeks, right above my waist, which is where kidneys are at. Since this us unusual for me, I went to the store yesterday and got fresh pineapple, spinach greens, kiwi fruit, and bananas for the smoothies. I soaked some almonds and made almond milk last night; so today is going to be a pretty much green smoothie day all day and hopefully the back will be better tomorrow. If not, it is pineapple and smoothies for another day at least.
It is lightly snowing today, so I loaded more firewood to the front porch, then made scrapple, home fries, eggs and toast.
I took my car into the city early this morning for repairs so stopped off at a diner for breakfast on my way home. I had eggs, toast, bacon & home fries.
