I have been buying Wright's Thick bacon. And I always buy a roll of Jimmy Dean's Hot sausage so I can alternate. I eat one or the other with with whatever else I might be having.

We went to the fitness center this morning, so I just had coffee and part of a protein bar for breakfast. After we left the fitness center, we went to the farmer market to see what they had for fresh veggies and watermelon.
Some of the vendors were already loading up since it was just past noon when we arrived, and they had been open since early this morning.
This is when you get the best bargains, so I had FUN !
We got a flat of red tomatoes for $3, a huge bag of cucumbers for $3, a bunch of yellow squash and a watermelon, for $4; so that brought us up to an even $10.
As we started loading it out to the car, they asked me if we wanted a flat green tomatoes for $3, plus they had some watermelon, so for another $4, we got the green tomatoes and a watermelon.
Now, we are home, Bobby sliced up some of his home cured bacon, and we are cooking green tomatoes, squash, and onions in the frypan, and I have cucumbers marinating in apple cider vinegar.
We will soon be eating good food ! !

We got up early this morning. Chipper woke me up before 5 squeaking that he needed to go outside and do his morning chores. After Bobby got up, he made coffee. Then I cooked some of the green tomatoes and some summer squash and poached eggs on top, and that is what I had for breakfast. Now, it is almost 9AM, and I want to go back to bed again, and can hardly stay awake. In anhour, we are going to go to the fitness center; but my then, my breakfast should have worn off and I won't have that too-full feeling when I am swimming and doing my water exercises.

*ugh* I hate hash browns ... they come as standard on a traditional cooked breakfast in most restaurants here in the UK..bacon, eggs, tomatoes ,hash browns etc... I always ask them to leave them off, or if I forget then Hubby who doesn't eat meat...will take them off my plate.. :D

That sounds like a very healthy breakfast @Yvonne Smith , wonder why you're feeling so tired..anyway hope you perk up soon and get off to the fitness centre... .

It's past 3pm here...so breakfast /brunch..because I don't eat as soon as I get up... for me was a long time ago..I had a handful of stoned dried dates and a cuppa tea ...then an hour or so later I had a rasher of bacon and one poached egg on 7 seeded toast (kinda lunch by then actually)

Sounds good @Yvonne Smith ...low carb and healthy! Since I have to have my fiber one in the morning, I'll have something similar to your breakfast for lunch.
