HEY...just got home from the Steer & Stein, where wife & I each had a Country Fried Steak! She drank Zinfandel and I drank Beer. Yowsah! Hal
I am evermore suitably impressed by this new technology: man in Germany reveals the details of a small restaurant operation halfway around the world from him! These kinds of "revelations" astound me....Frank Victorville, CA – Rancho Cucamonga, CA Hemet , CA – Moreno Valley, CA
Me, too, Frank. Truly amazing. They seem to have the same prices in all outlets? Didn't check it. PS: Are you up so early or late at night?
Last night I had my first ever Stromboli. It had a pizza-like filling, with sausage and pepperoni. It was drenched in garlic. It was huge. Took half home in a doggie box, and it smelled up the whole car. On the way home I decided to throw away some money and bought a jar of Bonne Maman's Blackberry Preserves. Mostly I wanted the jar because it was short and stout. Those preserves are too good!!! So sweet. It only takes half as much to get the same effect. No preservatives. I'll have to eat it quickly or it might mold. Website claims Bonne Maman means “Grandmother”
@Thomas Stearn I am at GMT -7 hours, I believe, can never resolve times elsewhere very clearly. I usually sleep between 11:00PM and 7:00AM. Frank
Two halves of green bell pepper stuffed with ground beef. The label states the ground beef is meatloaf. Put some tomato sauce over each before placing in oven. A package of 90 Second White Rice and "walla"...……...supper!
You believe wrong,.... we call peas, peas.... we don't use the word Eggplant for anything but I believe you Americans' use it for what we call an Aubergine...
Stopped at the grocery store 10 minutes before the deli was closing. Three sad, lonely looking, egg rolls were sitting there and I took 'em. SO GOOD! (not my picture)
Well I just had a delicious Trader Joe's Asian Noodle salad to which I added 1/2 avocado and more pieces of romaine. So tasty.
