    Tonight we will dine on a mild goulash of Mexican origin...recipe.
    Poured over some rice, with chips and guac on the side. Delicioso;)

    @Nancy Hart
    That serving is 1/3 of the batch I made with 1 clove of garlic. You can taste the garlic, but there's a whole shallot in here as well.

    @Lon Tanner
    Thanks for posting that pic!! That's my first time making scampi. I bought some high-end refrigerated pasta for it. It turned out pretty good.

    Broccoli

    I went shopping for a large bag of frozen mixed vegetables, but the only thing they had was broccoli. I bought a 4 lb bag.

    I've been feeling kind of queasy all day, so I had (canned) chicken noodle soup. The better half picked up a hamburger and fries for himself.

    Hope you're not coming down with anything.

    Sprite, chicken noodle soup and Dayquil cures all.

    I think that Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup does the trick because of all the salt. Gotta keep those electrolytes up. The higher-quality stuff (Progresso, et al) just ain't the same.

    Gotta love that Breville:

    Just seems to run hot. Tops brown 5 minutes before the cooking time is up.
    Same thing happened with a Marie Calender's pot pie.

    The rack's at the right height. I'll have to stick a thermometer in there to calibrate it.
