-Salad -Leftover homemade pizza (one slice Fontina cheese only, one slice tomato sauce + all the toppings) -Fudgesicle
-Salad -3rd serving (2nd leftover) Salisbury steak (only one serving remains) -Mashed potatoes -Fudgesicle It was pretty good, but I don't think I'll make it again. I rarely eat red meat these days. I'll have the occasional grilled burger for lunch, but only once or twice a week at the most. Don't know why it's fallen from my rotation.
We seem to accumulate a stack of restaurant gift cards (is this what happens when you get old and people don't know what gifts to buy??) So today we used an Olive Garden card to pick up carry out. I had stuffed chicken marsala and it wasn't half bad. I do love the OG salad and breadsticks.
I used to eat out so much when I lived near DC that I would buy restaurant gift cards for my own use at Christmas because they always kicked in a free $10 one for the giver. I am so cheap... The only gripe I have with OG (and I've only eaten there maybe 3-4 times) is everything is so damned salty, including their bread sticks and salad dressings.

Tonight: Ethiopian style lentils, with a garnish of sauteed, grated carrots, fresh cilantro, onion, garlic, celery, served on injeras, no silverware needed. Yummmm!
Probably some Sanders Farms cooked chicken strips, a fried cabbage dish I have been wanting to try...um. another veggie. We like to eat at home...cheaper, cleaner, and virus free Um maybe a tad of pudding for dessert.
Tell me about the fried cabbage dish, Gloria. I have a half of a big cabbage languishing in the fridge. We will have mexican from the local joint, as usual on Sunday. Fajitas!
Saw this on Cookist....via FB Chop up some cabbage fine...add two, eggs, half cup flour, spices you want.hand swish it together..small amount of oil in skillet...lay in the cabbage cook until crispy.turn over cook til crispy. Just looked good and you probably could add cheese or something.
@Beth Gallagher ...correction.it is 2tbs of flour not half cup!!! It is good..but so would lot more spices. I sprinkled mozerlla on top..A good 10 inch skillet with about 2-3 tablesppons of oil.Trick is flip it over after browned and done.
