Haha. I was just telling my husband that today is the last of the "holiday weekend" and tomorrow it's back to rabbit food.

    Tonight's gonna be:
    -salad
    -open faced turkey sandwich w/gravy
    -various Thanksgiving sides
    -pumpkin pie

I gotta eat through the stuff I have in my freezers.

So let's see: 15 ft³ of food minus the above meal equals...

Today it's macaroni and beef in the Instant Pot. I use several of the "Blue Jean Chef's" recipes and they always turn out well.

Today I made split pea with ham soup in the Instant Pot. It was pretty tasty if I do say so. (And hit the spot on this cold afternoon.)

I have a pot roast simmering and the house smells really good. Sides will be rice (with roast gravy) and green peas. Probably a cucumber/tomato salad.

The better half has requested homemade chili for dinner, so that's the plan. Topped with chopped onions and grated cheese, with a side of Saltine crackers.

So we were shuffling through our deck of restaurant gift cards earlier and decided to use some of them. I went online and ordered some stuff from Red Lobster and my husband has gone to pick it up with "curbside" service. I am honestly shocked at how high the prices are for menu items at Red Lobster. Two dinners (fried shrimp, etc.) are just under $50, with no drinks, desserts, or tip included. Sheesh.

So dinner tonight is fried shrimp, baked potato, caesar salad and cheddar biscuits. Hubby's having the "Admiral's Feast" which adds some scallops and a piece of fish to his fried shrimp.

Helped my neighbor build a deck (we're finishing tomorrow) so he and his wife took me to IHOP for dinner.

Man, do I work cheap ;)

Today I had my annual McRib; 'tis the season! After all, who doesn't love pressed mystery meat slathered in BBQ sauce with far too much raw onion and a pickle?? Not even embarrassed to admit that I really love them. :D

I also have a McDonald's apple pie to enjoy with my coffee later.
