I had one myself, Gloria. I didn't take an anxiety pill today so I got to have a Corona instead. My hubby brought me a chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-a for my dinner. I guess when treatment starts I won't get any beer for a while.
I had some left over lentil patty mix, and thought I better eat it while it is still fresh. I probably won’t eat all of it tonight, but at least it will be cooled and I can put it in the refrigerator and use it like a meatloaf sandwich tomorrow. It is basted with a soy sauce mixture, which makes it look darker, and adds to the flavor. Even Bobby said he would try some !
I went meatless for a while and bean burgers were a staple...lentils, pinto beans, etc. As you know, there's lots of ways to make them. That looks good! I might have to work those back into my food rotation.
It was good, almost like a meatloaf patty. Bobby and I each had one and I saved the other two for tomorrow. These had lentils, onions, carrots, oatmeal, and seasoning. The basting sauce was a mix of soy sauce, maple syrup, and olive oil, and I turned them several times and coated them with the sauce.
