That one didnt have enough of a variety of cheeses on it, so there is another tray too.

Also, for those watching their weight...some smoked salmon, cream cheese and cuke slices.

I actually have these things pinned...well at least I'm using them now to entertain. :)

I haven't even served the main course, Ruby! :)

Sadly most of my main dishes are diet and healthy on Pinterest but I may have a few.

NO, maybe if I hadn't put out all those appetizers then maybe but I have learned from experience that you wouldn't eat much after all that and soup. Not going to slave over a main course if nobody eats it. :)

Actually my daughter would make a butternut squash soup at thanksgiving but after a couple years quit, it was just too much.

Yum, that sounds delicious @Babs Hunt!

I made a chicken pot pie for dinner last night. I love pot pies, and homemade ones are the best. I used Ree Drummond's recipe, but used Pillsbury crusts, because I didn't have the energy to fuss with crusts along with the pie. Here's her recipe. I cut a slotted heart in the center to let out the steam, and because it was cute. The Pillsbury crusts are better than the store brand, very flaky, and with a really nice flavor, so I'll have to stick to them in the future when I don't make my own.

I have never made a chicken pot pie and I really like them. I'll have to try it some day.

Yesterday we had oven baked B/S chicken thighs, with leftover sweet potatoes and collards.
