I had cooked cabbage and veggies with noodles, and a bowl of fruit salad (cut fresh fruit), which was delicious.

I have looked at the menu for tonight's dinner choice and think I will have the Beef Stew in about two hours.. Apple Pie and ice cream for dessert.

I bailed on the leftover pizza last night and found some minestrone soup in the freezer I had instead.

So tonight's gonna be salad and leftover pizza.

Looking at tonight's menu I think I will go with the Bacon Wrapped Porkloin Stuffed with Figs served with Blue Cheese Mash Potatos Green Beans. German Chocolate Cake for dessert.

I bought a marked-down rotisserie chicken yesterday, so tonight I'll make gravy with the gelatin that's settled in the bottom of the pack, then portion it all out and freeze whatever I don't eat for dinner.

Picked up BBQ on our way home from the med center. I got the pulled pork sandwich and a small potato salad.

Today, we got the poor old bread machine out the the back shelf where it has been languishing, and I made a loaf of whole wheat bread. The bread turned out wonderful, and we had it with the pot of navy beans that was cooking while the bread was making.
I want to make bread similar to the expensive Dave’s Killer Bread, which we love, but it is $5 a loaf, so expensive for our budget.
When my 5-grain rolled cereal arrives, then I will try making a loaf with that in it.
Anyway, we had a good dinner and lots of leftover beans and bread.

Today is "Fend For Yourself Day;" I have declared this holiday from cooking. :D I think the hubby is choosing leftover chili and I'll probably make a sandwich for me.
