Grocery delivery day yielded a rotisserie chicken, bagged caesar salad, and corn on the cob.
    Easy-peasy.

I also got a bakery box of large croissants so we can have chicken sandwiches with leftovers.

Today is Chick-fil-a Day. I'm having nuggets and kale salad, plus a medium lemonade.

I've had a hankering for buffalo wings for the past couple of weeks. It occurred to me that a really nice seafood bar & grill recently relocated from Charlottesville to just up the road from me (the UVA hospital conglomerate bought the building they were leasing), so I pulled up their appetizer menu on the web and they got wings!!!

I might place a take out order and swing by the Walmart across the street & get some celery.
Wings & a big salad (plus celery & carrot sticks) makes a pretty good meal.

Quiche Lorraine (bake & eat from the grocery deli)... meh. Mixed greens salad. Taught the hubby how to make banana pudding; turned out a little messy but he was proud of himself.

Today I'll make a shrimp boil, coaxing the hubby to peel shrimp. Adding corn on the cob and new potatoes to the cajun seasoned boil. Probably have cole slaw on the side.

I had that crawlspace wrap put down, I see why it was 1/4 the cost of the other guys, although it did get stuff cleaned up under there. And after only a couple of days, I see puddles of drain water.

I'm taking it easy on the use of my kitchen sink until I get a plumber out here to replace the drain. Given what was done by contractors before I moved in here (cutting out a roof vent), it's above my pay grade. I need the system looked at by a professional. I hate crawlspaces. You don't see problems without making that horrible trip.

So the reason I said all that in the supper [DINNER] thread is I'm gonna do carryout for a few days. And I'd be happy to send you some Mexican. Your mailman thinks he's got problems with dogs NOW, just wait till he's got a chalupa in that bag ;)
