Got an MRI on my toe tonight, so I'm taking the quick way out:

    -Salad
-Marie's chicken pot pie, with extra chicken & gravy and extra mixed veggies
    -Fudgesicle

I have been wanting a pot of beans for a while now... kind of weird in this heat but whatever. So today I soaked some pinto beans and got out the stuff to make borracho beans; they are simmering away. I guess I'll make some cheese quesadillas to go with them.

Since we're having unusually high heat here right now, I ate a microwaved shrimp pesto meal for breakfast when it was still cool out, because it would go bad before cooler weather. For dinner, I'll be having cottage cheese and cantaloupe, maybe a cheese on brown bread melted in the toaster oven, followed with a pineapple popsicle.

I absolutely LOVE cheese toast. My favorite is Muenster on brown bread.

Me too @Beth Gallagher , tho I prefer Swiss or Mozarella to Muenster. Especially good with roasted garlic cloves that are soft and spreadable. ;)

I got some leftover Applebee's ribs in the freezer, so I'll take the meat off the bone and make some BBQ/Cheese quesadillas. Maybe a side of refries. Perhaps a toatada. Start off with a salad.

I made a large salad for a late lunch, then made some hummus and had some of the hummus with the whole wheat and flax pita bread.

I may try another peach later on, if I can find one that is ripe enough.
