Probably just a veggie-based protein shake. I am still clogged from the two giant, very dry, over-baking-powdered biscuits with a paltry amount of gravy swimming in fat topped with two runny eggs and further doused in ketchup, that I had for lunch after my monthly pedicure, so I am not hungry for supper/dinner and worried about aluminum poisoning from excessive baking power and/or clogged arteries from excessive pig fat.

Split pea with ham soup; crusty bread. Here's the soup before adding broth and split peas...

I've never had a ham & split pea soup with green pepper, garlic and potatoes(?)...or is that turnip? Or parsnip?

    Makin' me drool.

I defrosted a rotisserie chicken breast the other night for chicken chili nachos, and decided to make Chicken & Ham Salad Sandwiches with what I didn't use. Mayo, sour cream, mustard, lemon juice, celery and the meats.

I've not tried it yet...gonna eat in a few.

Shrimp with linguine. No sauce! Not bad for just throwing something together and using up shrimp that had been in the freezer for a year. Parmesan sprinkled liberally on top really put a nice taste to it.
