Pot roast is one of my favorites it all sounds great except for the peas. I don't believe I've ever mentioned but I don't eat veggies or maybe I should say there are only a few that I enjoy. I guess I'm the opposite of a vegan.
Tried a new take a place for us tonight call yummy yummy Asian and American food. We had General Tso's chicken, Pork Lo Mein, pork fried rice, pork steamed dumplings, sweet and sour chicken, beef with broccoli, honey wings and General Tso's wings.I ordered a variety see how we like this new place. We all agree the food was very good my grandkids loved it. I guess we'll give it a second try one day.
Bacon burger with swiss cheese and grilled onions, fries. Cheesecake and coffee. I have the defibrillator on standby.
Yummy that is good I miss my weekly dose of hamburger we usually have it once a week didn't have it this week. Cheesecake and coffee excellent dessert. We had spaghetti with meat sauce tonight just found out we have no dessert really disappointed. Might put together some Ritz crackers and jelly for dessert.
Tonight my family and I went to Izumi for an Hibachi dinner. You sit around a large Grill and the food is cooked right in front of you. The chef puts on a show of fire, juggling spatulas and knives, squirt sake into your mouth, making balloon toys for the grandkids. The meal includes soup and salad, roasted vegetables, fried rice, and whatever meat you chose chicken, steak, or fish. I had the chicken it was delicious as was the fried rice, I don't do vegetables. We went there to celebrate my wife 77th birthday which is today I think it did her good she had a long day of treatment at the hospital today. A side note my wife liked their dishes.
Happy birthday to Mrs. Tony!! Your dinner sounds like fun; we have Benihana here that sounds like a similar place.
Today we had our anniversary dinner at a seafood restaurant. I had fried shrimp and broiled scallops with garlic sauce, baked potato and caesar salad. The better half had red snapper with a cajun shrimp sauce, fried shrimp, fries and house salad.
Benihana is the same idea. We use to have one here a few towns away, I believe they're closed. This place open about 3 weeks ago it is only about a half mile away. Happy Anniversary I hope you enjoyed it. I need oxygen I'm stuffed!!! Haha
Philly cheese steak sandwiches on homemade hoagie rolls, and a few chips. Always seems like a lot of work for 15 minutes of eating.
Playing with my new toys today; I'm making rigatoni so I'll open a jar of Rao's and add some Italian sausage. Side salad and garlic toast.
