I'll keep those vitamins in mind and thanks. I was taking an over 50 one a day vitamin but have not bought any now since I stopped going to the drugstore to pickup meds after being left with no renewal of my prescriptions since past December. The local dollar store had their shelves cleared of just about everything except certain items due to a warehouse distribution center found to have a massive rodent problem. It was not the dollar store but their supplier. So even today their over the counter medicines and vitamins have not been restocked. I promised myself that I would not spend the rest of my life going a hundred miles round trip to see a couple doctors who are milking my medicare and SSI. Senseless appointments that last about 3 minutes and a little mumbling and then a Benny Hill kick in the arse out their door. If it were really bad and I was definitely sick it would be different but it isn't and two bad knees is a heck of a lot better than any other more important things. I had planned on just using my VA care again but then they are not any better since I last used them. It took three months to get a return on my phone call to get another primary care assigned. I found it is better to just show up at the door like a lost dog and you will finally get things rolling again, forget using the phone because that way if you do they can take their time and eventually forget about you, or accidentally find your request. I am sure getting grumpy with all this absolute criminal behavior within our government. This morning it is about the rail system going on strike. The halfwit say's he is not taking sides but hopes they make an honest effort to clean up THE MESS HE HAS MADE. I added the end of the quote. Now everyone knows he is in bed with the unions and they scratch each others back and probably share the money. I think should they go on strike it would pretty much seal the deal for a complete takeover of the house and senate for conservatives, I just hope the right conservatives and not that bunch of traitors like lizzy and others.
Don't blame you, Dwight, if they taste good to you. Mine hold together very well, and it makes them easier to flip, and they taste great too.
I have a small chuck roast in the crock pot with a few pepperoncini peppers. We'll probably just have roast, rice and gravy, corn on the cob and something green.
I feel that way about the whole medical set up, at this point, and we all have multiple stories we can tell. You can order from amazon, delivered free if you can add up enough things to get to $25. It does not take much. I would not bother getting vitamins from the dollar store, though. Lots of worthless things are cheap.
Sounds good, did ya have to take out a bank loan. I am shocked at the price of mac n cheese today. I can't remember the name of the place but in Houston just a couple years ago there was a little place that had mac n cheese as the main meal but with a twist, they served it in the little cast iron skillets and had different styles with some meats and veggies mixed in.
I did Hardees for lunch (a rarity since I've been losing weight), so tonight's gonna be a salad with Boursin spreadable garlic cheese & crackers.
I had the last of my homemade pork stir-fry. I put some General Zhou sauce in it so it was a little hot. Pretty good, if I do say so myself. Cooking for myself alone I tend to make too much of anything and then have to eat it once or twice a day and then I get a little tired of it or else have to freeze it.
I'm the same way. I have this weird thing about getting variety in my diet. I won't eat the same meal 2 days in a row, and I won't have beef for 2 meals in the same day (meaning if I had a burger for lunch, dinner's gotta be fish or chicken or pork.)
