We are having leftovers from the turkey dinner yesterday. I have the bones and bit pieces simmering in the slow cooker along with celery, onions, and carrots. Making a nice broth for turkey soup.
First time of using the new slow cooker, and i am really happy with it ! It is simple to use, easy to clean, and just the right size.

If you're gonna eat a pot pie, Marie's is the one to get.

I keep servings of chicken & gravy in the freezer. When I have a Marie's pot pie, I stretch it into 2 meals by adding chicken & gravy and some mixed veggies.

John that is a good idea, but now it will be just pie, since we are so behind on dog training and chores. We did start seedlings, thank goodness. But have ot set up greenhouse,etc,etc,etc..
I want some fresh greens and cornbread soon. Cornbread is very "expensive" for me, but,' I want it,I love it and want some more of it'.:D

I mostly do it because the crust has so much fat in it. Plus, no one's pot pie ever has enough filling.
