    Good morning to all-
The most inconvenient thing about my place of residence- hurricanes. they don't come so very often, but when they do there's trouble- a lot of it. Just last month we cleaned up the final debris and downed trees from Hurrricane Sally- and she came over a year ago. Storm recovery is slow.
Other than that, I like my neighborhood just fine. Mixed neighborhood, black folks, white folks, oriental folks- and we all mind our own business and help each other out- share eggs, garden produce, fruit.
I do wish the deer would leave my gardens alone, though. But they were here before I was, so I guess they have something of a prior claim.

you all be safe and keep well- Ed

Can you run for the council and get those changes made. or at least get them considered?

No @Don Alaska they clam they have already spent millions of $$$$ on a community centre and why do we need another ?
yes they have a huge gym / swimming pool / basketball courts / fitness classes for the super fit ..that’s not a community centre but they say it is cause anyone can go there( if you are super fit)

I thought you only wanted to start programs in the existing centre. I didn't realize you would need another facility

Good idea, but No room at the gym/ swimming pool area @Don Alaska for any community events and it would be far to noisy to set up a community centre in a huge gym.
Can you imagine the dedicated bingo players being disrupted by noises from the gyms:eek: OMG you can’t even drop a pin while bingos on , cause they would say someone’s making noise and we can’t concentrate

Where we dance in Adelaide there is a similar building in the same area for what we have up here that’s the sports / activity centre/ community centre

Maybe schedule noisy things at a different time from Bingo. No remedy for the pool, though.
