    That's adorable @Patsy Faye!

    @Kate Ellery Have they tested your blood pressure? I have read before of some sort of condition that's difficult to diagnose, because it only shows itself when the person is changing positions, I believe from lying down to standing up, and they sometimes faint. I hope it was a one-time incident.

    @Kate Ellery I just saw your post and question. I have a compromised immune system, and I've been dealing with it since I was a child. I take a lot of supplements, but they do help. I hope you aren't overwhelmed by the list. To save money I purchase them through Amazon Prime, and I buy in quantities for six months. So here goes.

    Red Yeast Rice = 1200 mg
    COQ-10 = 600 mg
    Super B-Complex
    Magnesium = 500 mg
    Biotin = 10,000 mg
    Niacin = 100 mg
    Vitamin C = 500 mg
    Mega 3 = 360 OHA
    Calcium = 1200 mg
    Garlic gel capsules

    Then there are the prescriptions for my thyroid, heart, blood pressure, COPD inhaler, sinus inhaler, and a water pill.

    @Yvonne Smith suggested most of these, and my Dr agreed with my taking them. I hope it helps.

    Whenever I go on a long trip, even when it was an enjoyable one, I am always worn out when I get back home, @Diana Kristof . I think that what @Corie Henson mentioned is a similar thing, and I remember that after her long vacation last fall, @Ina I. Wonder said she was exhausted and needed to rest up again, too. So it might just be your body telling you to take it easy for a while and recuperate.
    Also, if you live alone, and then went vacationing with a friend, it is natural to miss that company when you are back home alone again, I think. When I would go somewhere with Robin, and then came back home, I always missed her, and had to readjust to being alone again.
    Speaking of supplements, I have discovered that we can now get most of ours for free, or only a few dollars, compared to what we were paying before, simply by using the Amazon Review Trader website and asking for trial codes.
    You do have to write an Amazon review for the supplement afterwards; but you can save so much money this way that it is worth the few minutes it takes to write the review. You would probably want to have Amazon Prime to use this though, so you can get the free shipping.

    I'm exhausted after a trip to Illinois but that's because it's a hectic pace at my son's house with 3 boys under 10, plus I always watch them for about 5 days somewhere in my month long trip while my son and DIL take a mini vacation
    Without kids.

    This trip it will be in the middle of the month which is good because last time it was almost as soon as I got there
    And I had barely adjusted to the 2 hr time change....getting up was hard.

    Besides D, I still don't take anything else even though I get $50 worth of supplements free with my supplemental insurance I haven't bothered with it yet.

    I find the key to my energy is just start doing something then my energy builds as the day progresses.

    Today, I did a lot and it's only 1:05!

    Thank you all! So much to reply to.

    @Chrissy Page But those days make me want to buy 100 cake pops. ;) LOL But thank you. You are right, we don't have to have a good day every day.

    @Ina I. Wonder You make a good point!!! Might be time to see the doctor.

    @Yvonne Smith Yes, that is true too. Trips can be tiring. Even just being on a different schedule can make a big difference with a new sleep pattern. I think we did stay up later and get up earlier, or at least the same time, and you don't really realize when you're having fun how tiring that can be. I do think I'm having that catch up to me, because Monday morning I didn't want to get out of bed and slept another 2 hours longer than normal.

    Thank you all for thoughts and suggestions! :)

    Well, after my horrid summer I thought I was doing good finally but I'm not. I'm stressed out and depressed.

    Had a meltdown yesterday. After spending my first night sweating like a pig because of the AC problem I woke up and felt something in my mouth...it was a filling. Then I put my flip flops on and they broke. I just started crying...called my kids and said Ive had it and I'm not even going to watch my daughters boys next week while she goes to a class. Then I called my son, I have first class tickets to Illinois for the 11th that he bought me and I'm just too exhausted mentally right now to go. Plus I couldn't leave til my AC problem is fixed.

    So, he said it's better if we cancel the trip and I can come out when I'm physically and mentally better and he wants me to get some help. Talk to my doctor.

    So, that's what I'm going to do. I'll go watch my daughter's boys because she paid $2,000 for this dental class in SF for 3 days and she needs them.

    They need a certain number of points in continued education to renew their dental license each year or every couple years ...don't know the facts on that.

    My dr wrote me a prescription a few months ago for Wellbutrin but even with insurance it was $88 so I said forget it, my son offered to pay for it but I can manage.

    Ok.... Need coffee real bad also take a big stake with it. I just came off a 24 hr. fast, for blood work this morning. The girl asked me if I'm still on fast, reply yes since Monday at midnight, all day Tuesday and now. She said, we only require 10-12 hr. fast. Well doctor's orders here. Pip fixed a boiled dinner yesterday. Telling me there would be left overs. Growled at him there better be, and stay out of my ice cream (against my doctor's wishes).

    2009 I wasn't feeling well and went to the hospital. About 80% of one artery was blocked. I had 3 stints put in, and had to go on Plavix. When I got out of the hospital, I went to Wal-Mart pharmacy, and with the other medicines, a blood pressure pill and cholesterol pill. Plavix alone was $500.00. Told the Pharmacist couldn't afford it.Can you sell me a week's supply till I get with my doctor? Done, I was really down in the dumps, and went over to Subway to get a sandwich. My friend came over saying I looked whipped. was telling her how much the Plavix cost.She said, oh I buy out of Canada. Anything over $75.00. Well that's what I did with the Plavix it was generic, but cost me $98.00 for a 3 months supply. So I bought from Global Pharmacy for awhile then taken off. For the past few years, the FDA made Plavix generic and costs $88.00 I told my doctor what I was doing, He even gave me office samples, till I got an account set up in Canada.:)

    I love your avatar Patsy Faye,,,it is too cute! I could customize I suppose with my cat's cheesecake photo...lol. No, actually he is sitting on some magazines. I was wearing a white shirt at the time I took the pic, and you can see the white reflected in his eyes. Cat's do have some funny expressions. I hope you are feeling better today. I am sure you will when the weather cools down a bit. That always makes me feel better anyway.

    @Chrissy Page you just need more time. Sometimes we just need to back away from the stress and anxiety for awhile. Aside from a bad tooth, which feels like one more hassle, maybe you're not ready to put on the, 'happy and everything is fine', face for those you love. As you told me, fix you first. (((HUGS)))
