unfortunately he had passed after i came on board here. He was very well loved on from what I have read.
Perhaps someone, could tell the rest of us-so we can know- what made Ike so special to the people on here- or to you ?Maybe start a Tribute thread to him and Ina and Gary and others who have left us. What do ya'all think ?
Holly I have been wondering- how is that- you know that you know others real names and keep up with them when they are not on here- like Terry? Are you all FB people and that's how? Just curious.
Not sure, from my part - I get a bit emotional Ike was a real nice guy, full of stories to tell and a good sense of humour Ina was very sweet lady and a good friend with Yvonne, kind and caring she was Gary - the phrase I use for him - a very reasonable man to discuss things with
awwww I think we all miss Ike very much, the same with lovely Ina... , may they R.I.P ...gone far too early!! ''next door'' a certain poster, reminds me very much of Ike... they could have been brothers from another mother...
try knowing how to score at Cricket.... that will make your head Spin (see what I did there)? I love Cricket... yesterday they were playing cricket on our local village green as they do usually on Sundays in the summer.. I love to sit and watch them play, it's sooo relaxing!!.... I didn't get to watch yesterdays game, I was just coming home from being out as they were finishing up... shame!! I also really enjoy watching green (Lawn) bowls in the summer. I've loved it since I was a child..again super relaxing!!
We do have a tribute/memorial section in the forum, @Gloria Mitchell . Look at the “People I Have Known” section, and there is a sub-forum under there called “In Memorium”, and it is there that you can see information and read about our lost and missed forum members/friends. Also, if you click on their avatar, and go to the profile page, and choose “postings”, you can read what they shared with us in this forum, or just see what threads they started and read those if you want to do that.
@Yvonne Smith - the 'memorial' section is a good place to start, especially with Ike as there are some of his stories there
