I'm B. And I only dip a little bit. Seeing all that ketchup all over those fries makes me shudder. I'll sometimes have malt vinegar in my fries, but that's mostly on the boardwalk at Ocean City MD (Thrasher's Fries) or at a fish & chips shop.
If we have hot chips as we call them ……we also call dry salted chips ..chips I usually buy a pack of frozen “ steak” chips once in a while from Aldi ( they a thick cut chips ) I like tartar sauce with chips not tomato sauce, that’s reserved for scrambled eggs for me or a Sav n Roll ..which is a Saveloy ….if you ask for a sav here in QLD they look at you like you have 2 heads and go …..Huh
