She started her career as a writer for Paramount Studios in 1941. She was in a ton of stuff, including these westerns: The Rebel, Tales of Wells Fargo, Wagon Train, Shane, Cheyenne, The Guns of Will Sonnett, The Restless Gun, Laredo, Rango, The High Chaparral, The Rifleman, The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp, Fury, Frontier Circus, Bonanza, The Big Valley, Meet McGraw, The Virginian, and others. I just read that she played Lurch's mother on The Addams Family. I must have missed that episode.
The real Wyatt Earp of Tombstone. All the time I watched Ellen Corby, I never connected her to Grand Ma Walton. Thanks, John and Ken, I learned something else I didn't know.
