Ever since my wife told me that the lowest form of thinking was assuming, I've made it my mission to avoid doing that. However I'm not perfect at doing that yet.
e Pleas note I mentioned 2024 No they where just writing something that might happen in 2024 with the way the Dems are going to very left wing of politics. But with 2 years to go and some of the DEM front runners who have made fools of them selves AOC just might be a candidate in 2020.
Oh, I have no doubt that Cortez will try to run for the presidency at some point. She’ll get the Bernie-ites to tow her along and maybe even a few foreign socialist dictators to endorse her. Maybe Bernie himself will endorse her and it looks like CNN has already taken the dear heart as a possible candidate. Here’s the thing however. My entire secular career has been focused on Food and Beverage and I have never met a bartender yet who wasn’t totally immersed in self gratification. I’m not saying that people who tend bar or the more professional mixologists aren’t good people but I will say that I have only met one or two in 53 years of the business who knew at all times the difference between the bosses money and their own.
Bar tending wasn’t her career, she went to Boston University I think. I personally wouldn’t vote for her ...too far left for me but I admit to liking her....she’s a go getter with an infectious laugh but even if I would vote for her...she is still way to young to run. A non contender for awhile... PS...my daughter worked the bar at the Spaghetti Factory in downtown St. Louis to earn extra money while in Dental School and she an upstanding citizen.
Here is a speech she just made....I predict she will be popular... Even if you don’t agree with her politics I think she made some valid points.... The first time I saw her, I didn’t like her but she’s growing on me and I’m not one that would vote for her so I can imagine she’s going to be very well liked by those that would.
She may have gone to Boston University but my guess would be that they're not enthralled with the idea that she's a sign of the educational benefit of going to BU.
I had forgotten about the age limit. But think in 2024 she will be old enough to stand. I do like her and as she ages she will not be so stupid.
Well could be when she was asked about the low level of unemployment under Trump she replied "Its because ever one has two jobs"
For a time, it was indeed her "job" until she landed the congressional "career." According to the editorials, she had to pull 18 hr. shifts working for tips in order to take care of her mother and make ends meet. And yes, I have no doubt that your daughter is an upstanding citizen but then, I have never met her have I? I stated that in my secular career I had met (known) only a couple of bartenders who etc, etc.
Job and career are different though....she didn’t go to BU to be a bartender but I’m guessing she couldn’t get a job at the time and needed money. I’m not defending her, barely know anything about her but the little I saw made me think she will be a democratic contender some day...or she may fade away...she’s very early in her political career. I’m not even a democrat and she doesn’t turn me off even if I disagree with her views on some things. Just saying..just my view of her.
