I don't know what you mean by "react" for the White House, but qualifications haven't been a big deal since Obama was elected. What were Trump's?

Pete Buttigieg’s father, Joseph Buttigieg, who was the world’s foremost expert (certainly the English-speaking world) on the famous Italian Marxist Antonio Gramsci. Joseph, who died in January 2019, was no less than the founder of the International Gramsci Society, a fact hardly a secret and acknowledged warmly on the website of the International Gramsci Society.

It is a foregone conclusion that I will vote for what ever D is on the ballot. Don't really care for any of them, but if Bloomberg gets the nomination I may just sit it out and deal with the consequences.
My vote has no value any way. New York's winner take all system our Electors are tied to ensures that. The population of Blue NYC overwhelms the rest of the state. If electors were required to vote their district, Trump would have carried NY.
Believe it or not, I want a Republican State government.

I remember Bloomberg when he was mayor of NY, just across the Hudson from me. He did some things that at that time were not all bad, but, he wasn't all that terrific either. He has no charisma and one thing I do recall, for all his wealth, he rode the subway to work everyday in his bespoke suits. He really is a shrimp of a guy too. As for Mayor Pete, well, Klobucher was quite restrained toward him which I give her credit for. He was raised by a Marxist father and despite all his blathering about what he desires for America, beware. This boy is a Marxist at heart. Amy did call him out for memorizing propaganda favorable to his so called plan. He's a smooth talker ala Obama and you know what that got us. Further, when he said that what was needed on that stage last night was a true Democrat, well, Pete, there were 2 right alongside of you, Biden and Klobucher.

I don't know anything about Pete being a Marxist; many people easily reject their parent's beliefs. I'll go out on a limb and say what a lot of people are thinking... the USA is not ready for a gay president. Personally I couldn't care less, but many people have very strong opinions/beliefs about it.

This is hilarious , a synopsis of the debate from Bloomberg’s point of view (well, sort of) and if you have not already seen it on line somewhere, it is fun to watch.......

Well. Tonight was more of the same. Seriously, can the pandering to minorities get any more blatant??

I don't know why I find Elizabeth Warren so annoying, but when she opens her mouth to speak I just want her to shut up. The thought of how she worked the system with her fake American Indian ancestry just grinds me.

And poor old Joe. He seriously looks more pathetic with each public appearance.

Elizabeth Warren galled me no end when, at the outset, she decided to iterate her baldfaced lie about her first job at teaching. That took place at my alma mater. My siblings and my son also graduated from that school in Riverdale, NJ. This dream job she loved so much and now trashes. The fact of the matter is this; she was a part time speech teacher and had not even obtained all the necessary credits to renew her contract. However the board of education members, most of whom were friends of mine, sought and were able to snag a special certificate for her and extended her contract. During the summer meeting she submitted her resignation as required by law in those days as she was pregnant. It was accepted with regret. Fortunately, a substitute teacher was available to fill the bill for the time being.Warren then met with the principal, Lou Acocella who was happy for her and wished her well. To hear her tell it he unceremoniously escorted her to the door and gave her the boot. He was a gentleman of the first order who passed away 2 years ago and would be appalled at this diatribe. She complained that she had no union backing her up at all. Of course not. She did not have tenure and in 1971, there was no maternity leave for female teachers at all. I have the minutes from that last board meeting to prove all this and Warren should knock this nonsense off.

I watched part of it, and Warren admitted that she has a personal vendetta against Mayor Bloomberg. She definitely attacks him every chance she had to speak, and didn’t have much else of any use to talk about except to condemn Bloomberg.
I totally cannot see anyone that vindictive making a responsible president, she would just be using it as her personal little revenge trip, from what we are seeing thus far.
This time, there was another new (to me) person down on the far end, and I didn’t hear him speak at much at all, and have no clue who he even is, or why he is in the debate at this late date.

It also seemed to me that , other than Warren attacking Bloomberg, this time, they went after Bernie Sanders, and left Bloomberg looking better this time.
He must have been a lot better prepared, plus they had stopped a lot of the yelling at each other this time, and made the contestants wait for their turn and be invited to speak.
I actually thought that Biden and Bloomberg both did better this time, and I think that they are still going to do everything that they can to keep Bernie from getting the Democratic nomination.

Bloomberg seems to be trying to be the Democratic version of Trump, which might make sense , since the main thing that Democrats don’t like about Trump is that he IS Trump.
The campaign is no longer a Democrat vs. Republican issue, it is a Trump vs. Anti-Trump , and it seems like the liberals will be satisfied with whichever Democrat get the nomination, if they think that he has a chance to beat Trump, regardless of what he wants to do to America.

Do you mean Tom Steyer? He has been in it since practically the beginning. He's a 62 year old hedge fund manager and liberal activist. (Another billionaire ) Frankly I don't understand how he's made it this far. When he brought up reparations I didn't hear anything else he said; more pandering.

If there was ever a person with an inflated ego, it's Tom Steyer IMHO.
