if we're supposed to be vegans? Canines are to tear meat not chaw on a carrot. I'm surprised so many insist that meat eating carnivore humans are nasty unfeeling slobs. Well ok maybe a little unfeeling, but geez bacon is soooo good. "Why do humans have canine teeth? Patrick McGannon, Surprise, Arizona All primate species have them, says Sabrina Sholts, a curator of physical anthropology at the Museum of Natural History. Early hominids may have found those four sharp teeth at the corners of the jaws a handy weapon for taking prey, preventing others from taking them prey and competing for mates. Over millions of years, possibly in response to dietary changes, the teeth became smaller. We modern humans use them to bite food and open cellophane-wrapped packages." http://www.smithsonianmag.com/smith...ans-canine-teeth-questions-readers-180959074/
I would never become a vegetarian, unless my choice was potatoes - I could live on them easily But no to salad stuff
I love veggies and although I'm not a vegan I only like chicken or turkey these days. The only time I eat steak is when visiting daughter or son. I actually prefer fish more than anything.
I do not eat large quantities of meat...but I do like meat. If a diet does not contain potatoes beans and on ocassion some booze.... I aint doing it. Veggies are something I learned to eat. They are not my first choice for a meal. Give me a mess of pinto beans, fried taters and some corn bread.... I will never go hungary
I'll eat the taters but won't touch the corn bread or beans. I'm not even sure I've had more than a bite of corn bread in my whole life...not a fan.
