Why is it... that waiters are hovering and waiting on you to take a big bite so they can ask "How is everything??"

I used to catch people with their mouthful and I'd smile and say, I'll check back, lol! It seems it happened to me at least one time every time I was ever in a restaurant ;)

Maybe some ask because they don't really want to hear it??

Why is it that the phone rings every time I sit on the toilet just as I sit?

Why is it that the "News" media always shows pictures like this when they show Trump supporters?

There is a huge annual gun show in Northern Virginia that began in the 1990s. I used to work the booth there for a group I'm with. The very first show, the media were there trying to find people like in your picture. One man walked out looking like he came in from the mountains...overalls, ZZ Top beard, the whole 9 yards. The reporter thought she had found her iconic hillbilly, and went up & spoke with him. The man was intelligent and well-versed in this nation and in our rights. She tried to play "gotcha" with him, but he knew what he was talking about. After a couple of iterations of that, they packed up and went home. Not one of those interviews with intelligent well-read Americans made the news.

We all know "why it is."

This guy always dressed to upset the PETA folks. He usually had polar bear skin boots on as well.

Why is it that even when the weather forecasters give people a weeks' worth of warning that there will be a blizzard that will make roads impassable, people still get stranded in their cars in the blizzard?

The animals were here first. Having said that of course, humans are animals too, but we live very unnatural lives. If we lived in harmony with nature, there wouldn't be so much of a problem.

The problem is that nature ain't very harmonious. The things that keep stuff in balance are very brutal.

You are entitled to your opinion but I would like to understand how humans live very unnatural lives though. My thought with living in harmony with nature does not include raccoons.

Human beings do things that make them feel good about themselves, provide food, shelter, sex, or whatever else they think they need. Animals do the same thing.

Unless you believe that we're alien to this planet, there's nothing unnatural about human beings.
