That means that Pelosi is trying her best to keep the Dem's presidential candidate in his basement out of the public eye, while blaming it on Trump.
Well, that is rather a dramatic way to put it. Was there ever a "pact" to break? Debates have been scheduled for some time. Both parties have agreed to them and I am sure that the negotiations are complete or nearly are Pelosi was just talking out her azz. I really doubt that the Biden campaign coordinates or consults her about much of anything. She was attempting to make the point that in her opinion it would be a waste of the nations and Bidens time to attempt an intelligent conversation with the donald. Why on earth would this even be entertained? Both parties committed months ago, end of story. Is there not enough silly crap going on that people have to make up more? Actually the debates are the one part of this circus that I am looking forward to.
I was just looking at the schedule. At least 2 of the debates will be after you should have gotten your ballot in the mail, to be sure it gets "there."
Pelosi might be a fruitcake but she's politically smart enough to realize that Biden needs to hide his dementia.

That’s not saying much Bill since Harris wasn’t even close to being a preferred candidate in the democratic primaries and she also dropped out. If she didn’t have the finances nor other wherewithal to give it a tight run against Biden in their own primaries, how is it that she is now a favorite of the DNC? Edit and Note: After the presidential elections of 2016, the DNC has been railing against the electoral college vote stating that the popular vote is the most important. If the popular vote is so important then why didn’t the DNC insist on the 2nd most popular candidate in the primaries to run for VP?
