Windows 10 Updates

    Thank you for the link. Funny though, I had this Essentials on Win 7 and it never occurred to me to try it given that there is no longer support for Win 7. It's still kind of frustrating maneuvering in Win 10 but I'll get it right without the headache eventually.

    True windows 10 is not user friendly especially if your vision is not good. I found just using the search programs and files box like in win 7 then type the keyword of what you are looking for and it usually pops up. I have most of the irritating stuff turned off so it behaves more like win 7. I turned off all the tracking and GPS so they can't snoop on you or track. Jan 2017 was the last update for movie maker before being discontinued, then Essentials was removed for win 10. All these old links direct from microsoft are almost all gone. I guess the actual download is stored in The wayback library, because Microsoft has already killed all the old links to anything Win7. I did start the install but only to see what it contained and it did have movie maker last version and several other programs you can select which one to install. Don't forget win 10 does have the replacement for movie maker "Photos and Video edit". You can do the same as movie maker win 7 and they say it is better.
